PromoGana works because people share and rate deals honestly. This code of conduct applies to everything you post: deals, coupons, comments, reviews, votes and images.
Do
- Share real deals: with the price you saw, the right store and the conditions that matter (end date, required coupon, required card).
- Vote thoughtfully: "Wow" if it truly is a good price; "Not so wow" if it isn't, and tell us why.
- Flag what changed: if the deal ended, sold out, or the coupon stopped working, report it.
- Comment to help: your experience with the product, the store or shipping helps whoever comes next.
- Be kind to others, even when they disagree with you.
Don't
- False or misleading information: made-up prices, discounts that don't exist, clickbait titles.
- Covert self-promotion: if you sell for or work with the store, you must say so and use a seller account.
- Your own affiliate links, link shorteners or redirects: post the store's direct link.
- Spam: repeated posts, off-topic comments, invitations to contact you elsewhere.
- Manipulating votes, points or rankings: multiple accounts, coordinated voting or vote trading.
- Insults, harassment, discrimination or threats.
- Personal information, yours or anyone else's: phone numbers, addresses, order numbers.
- Illegal, dangerous or adult content, and prohibited products.
- Copyrighted material that isn't yours.
- Links to fraudulent sites or sites that imitate a store.
How we moderate
- Posts from new accounts and links to stores we don't know yet go through review.
- You can report any deal, coupon or comment with one tap. If several users report it, it is hidden while we review.
- We may edit titles for clarity, correct prices, or merge duplicate posts.
Consequences
Depending on severity and repetition: a warning, content removal, loss of points and badges, posting limits, temporary suspension or account closure. Fraud involving votes or rewards means losing whatever was gained.
