Privacy Policy

Information you give us

• Account: email, name or nickname, password (stored hashed) and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the identifier and email that service shares with us.
• Preferences: country, language, theme, interests, stores and categories you follow, and the banks or card types you add under "My cards". We never ask for card numbers or banking details.
• Activity you create: alerts, lists, votes, comments, reviews, and deals and coupons you post.
• Messages you send us through contact or support.

Information generated when you use the Site

• Usage: pages viewed, searches, deals you click and the destination store.
• Device: device type, operating system, browser, language and screen size.
• Approximate location (country, state, city) derived from your IP address. We do not store your IP address in our analytics.
• Cookies and local storage, described in section 6.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

Necessary purposes

• Create and manage your account, and keep it secure.
• Send the alerts and notices you asked for.
• Show content for your country and language.
• Run the community: publish your content, moderate, and prevent abuse and fraud.
• Respond to requests and meet legal obligations.

Purposes you can decline

• Personalize deals and recommendations based on your activity.
• Send you digests and news.
• Usage analytics to improve the Site.
• Advertising campaign measurement.

You can opt out of these from your preferences, the cookie panel, or by writing to contacto@promogana.com, without affecting your use of the Site.

• Service providers (hosting, email and notification delivery, abuse protection, analytics), only what they need and under confidentiality obligations.
• Stores: when you click a deal, the store receives the visit with an affiliate identifier. We do not send it your name or email.
• Advertising platforms, only if you accept measurement cookies.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

• Account data: for as long as the account exists.
• Detailed usage activity: up to [PERIOD], then only in aggregate form that does not identify you.
• After you delete your account: erased as described in section 7, except what the law requires us to keep.

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or limit its use, and withdraw your consent.

• From your account: edit your profile, download your data, adjust preferences and delete the account.
• By email to contacto@promogana.com, stating your name, your account email, the right you want to exercise and proof of identity.

California and other U.S. state residents. You have the right to know, correct and delete your data, to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data for advertising. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer or email us. We honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal.

Mexico residents. You may exercise your access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO) rights as described above; we respond within 20 business days.

We use cookies and local storage:

• Necessary: session, security, country, language and theme. These cannot be turned off.
• Preferences: remember your choices.
• Analytics: measure Site usage in aggregate.
• Advertising: measure campaigns, only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

You can delete your account from your settings or from the account deletion page. The account is deactivated immediately and you have 30 days to change your mind. After that we erase your profile, email, alerts, interests, activity history and sessions. Your comments and posts are deleted or anonymized, as you choose.

The Site is not directed to anyone under [MINIMUM AGE]. If we learn of an account belonging to a minor, we will delete it.

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.

Some providers may be located outside your country. In those cases we require protections equivalent to those in this policy.

We will post any change here and, if it is significant, notify you by email or on the Site.
